I don’t know if senior dogs need a different feeding schedule than adults…I feed Ginny (mini dachshund, 3 yrs) and James (Standard poodle, almost 8 years) 2x/day and they’re both thriving.

  1. badgerdoglove answered: I’m not sure. My dacshund is 7 and I feed him twice a day because he gets hungry. Plus if he doesn’t eat, he gets sick sometimes.

  13. goalliego answered: Thanks!due to tooth probs we had to switch from dry to wet.i’ve noticed when we snuggling in early-mid afternoons her stomach sounds ravenous
